A Message From The Founder
Hi, I’m Rhi! I created The Violet Journal to help you feel great about yourself and create a life you absolutely love. Here you’ll find tips on productivity and personal development, journal prompts to help you reduce stress, and every day tips for managing your mental health. You’ll also find some beauty and fashion content to help you feel your best self every day!
My personal development journey came into full force when I was in my early 20s and studying for my degree. I was in an abusive relationship and felt as though my life was falling apart. My mental health was at rock bottom, and as a last resort I started writing in a journal alongside my weekly therapy sessions.
At first writing every day was difficult and took up a lot of my energy, but fast forward to today writing content for my blog and others is one of the biggest (and best!) parts of my life.
I know what it’s like to struggle, and while I can’t make your life easier I hope that my content will help you feel a little less alone. I’m always around for a chat and you can find me on Twitter if you ever need to talk to someone.
My Favorite Things:
- Reading books.
- Taking online courses about things that interest me.

- Drawing and Illustration.
- My day job – I’m a barista and have the best customers ever.
Some Of My Goals For The Future Are:
To Write a Book – It’s safe to say that writing has changed my life. I love reading books and writing one of my own has been an aspiration of mine since I was a child.
